Colourful and graphic, with a simplistic but dynamic colour scheme, and a play with word that brings out the brand name combined with the different events the centre invites to.

I was commissioned to design the new Visual Identity for Stiftelsen Svenskt Färgcentrum. Along with graphic design for SoMe, installations/exhibitions, invitations, presentations etc. In 2023 we also designed and produced the new web.

The graphic identity is structured around the name and the activities the foundation offers. A play with words where the name and the activity is merged, sharing the word FÄRG (Colour), instead of repeating it. When an activity is highlighted, the name is toned down, almost fading into the background, presenting the activity as the sender.

The Colour strategy is radically different than on other brands. Since SSFC is all about colour, I opted for a sense of limitless colour choices, in a structured way with full bleeding colour plates. All colours that can have enough contrast with black text is allowed and colours are changed thematically. Often introduced in combinations of three for the colour award Prisad Färg. Building up a large colour palette along the way, with a highly recognizable layout and repeated typographic rules.
